In particular, Rs. 25 thousand and 8 grams of gold are being provided to the differently abled who have completed their marriage under this scheme. Furthermore, if any one of the couple has completed a degree or diploma, he is being provided with Rs. 50,000 and 8 grams of gold. To benefit from this scheme, it should be the first marriage for both the couple. Those who want to benefit from this scheme should apply within one year from the date of marriage. Furthermore, they can apply on the website https://www.tnesevai.tn.gov.in/citizen/Registration.aspx with documents including ID card for differently-abled persons, unique ID card, Aadhaar, wedding invitation and wedding photograph, bank account book, medical certificate proving that one of the husband and wife is in good health, and a copy of the family card,” the Collector said. Not only differently-abled persons, but also those who have mixed marriages are being provided with government marriage assistance. The government is providing Rs. 2.50 lakh assistance to those who have married Scheduled Castes.
