When the police searched their motorcycle, it was revealed that 5500 narcotic pills were hidden in it. The police who seized them arrested all three of them. They were taken to the police station and during intensive interrogation, they said that they had bought narcotic pills from a drug shop in Guntur, Trichy. Following this, Kodandapani, 33, who runs a drug store in the Guntur MIET area, was arrested. 7000 pills that he had illegally stored in his drug store were seized. A total of three lakh 75 thousand rupees worth of narcotic pills were seized. The motorcycle used for smuggling was also seized.
